That’s the story from the American Journal of Public Health, which reports that since Barack Obama was sworn in as president in 2009, the leading cause of injury death in America has been suicide. It’s not that Americans don’t have enough toys and gadgets, food and shelter, amusements and diversions. While Americans are indeed hurting economically, I suggest the answer is much deeper than that.

I believe the trend reflects a deep and growing spiritual emptiness in a culture that is more depraved and sinful than at any time in its history.
Too many people just don’t find any meaning in life.                                                                                                                Abortion is subsidized, while adoption is prohibitively expensive – in the unlikely event you can find a child to adopt.
Increasingly, the state is sticking its nose into what we eat, what we say, how we raise our children – even our thoughts.
Government is fine with pornography. But purity and abstinence are discouraged.
In other words, right is wrong, up is down, black is white and left is right.
And we sit here and wonder why people are killing themselves.                                                                    When government replaces God in the lives of people, their lives become empty. They become subjects of the state, rather than citizens endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights – among those being life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The easy way to explain this alarming suicide data would be tough economic times.                                                                  There is a solution to this problem. Americans need to get right with God. If Americans did this, they wouldn’t  be taking their own lives in record numbers.

The White House budget office is using an obscure budget rule to restore $5 billion in sequester-related cuts.

The recalculation trick eralwill mean the State Department will no longer have to furlough employees, will spare the Pentagon $4 billion in cuts to the rate of spending growth, and will replenish $1 billion to the budgets of agencies including the Homeland Security Department and NASA.

Paul Ryan said the Environmental Protection Agency should be targeted for spending cuts and that EPA’s budget increased 124 percent under the Obama administration.

Bloomberg Assembles Leftist Cartoonists to Attack Second Amendment | Wizbang


New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is touting his newest effort to cancel the U.S. Constitution and the Second Amendment with a gathering of cartoons by 21 cartoonists who have taken a stand against our Constitutional right to self-protection.                                                                                                     One of the more outrageous cartoons is Dan Piraro’s contribution. It is an image of Thomas Jefferson holding a modern copy of USA Today. The cartooned newspaper sports a headline that reads, “26 Dead in School Massacre.”                                                                                                                                    No matter how many cartoonists are flabbergasted by the facts, the bulk of America is not in favor of taking away our own Second Amendment rights.

State Department Blocked Access to Benghazi Witness for Months


The names of the witnesses who will be at the House Oversight Committee Hearing next Wednesday relating to last September’s attack on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi on have reportedly surfaced.

Gregory N. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attacks; Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the deputy coordinator for Operations in the agency’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was the regional security officer in Libya, the top security officer in the country in the months leading up to the attacks. 
During the months of December and January, Breitbart News specifically asked the State Department switchboard for Benghazi witness Hicks’ contact information; the State Department claimed his location was unknown and they therefore ccould not provide information as to Hicks’ whereabouts. 
Meanwhile, another individual Breitbart News asked the State Department switch board about, who is not on the current witness list but may have had information about the deadly Benghazi attacks, was still correctly listed in with the State Department switchboard. Hicks is a veteran Foreign Service officer whose previous postings included Afghanistan, Syria, and Yemen. 
Rep. Jason Chafetz (R-UT) told Fox News in November that Ambassador Christopher Stevens, one of the four Americans ultimately killed in the Benghazi attack, called Hicks for help during the embassy attack.
“He said shortly after 9:40 PM what happened is his phone rang and he didn’t recognize the number so he didn’t answer it. And then it rang again and again he didn’t answer it because he didn’t recognize the number,” Rep. Chaffetz said. “But then given the persistence he did answer it. It was Ambassador Stevens and Ambassador Stevens was saying ‘we’re under attack,'” he added.

‘BENGHAZI BOMBSHELL

The Dream of Charles Wood’s Father, and the hope of Patriotic Americans finally may be realized. The ante was upped late this afternoon as names of the hidden whistleblowers were made public by Foxnews.

After reading the link below I think most will agree that the release of these names today are most intentional, and the timing meant to back down the “hidden forces of darkness” within this administration, who according to this report by Fox news have been threatening potential witnesses all the way up to the CIA Level, that their carreers would be over if they revealed the Truth of Benghazi.

When you put this into the context of the critical weeks before the election one can see depth of the deception, and the callous disregard for America’s finest.

Now we know why Obama could not look the families of these Bravehearts in the eye.

LINK TO STORY…Joe diGenova, a former U.S. attorney, and wife Victoria Toensing, a former chief counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee — Republicans — disclosed this week that in their private practice in the nation’s capital, they now represent pro bono two career State Department employees who regard themselves as “whistleblowers” and would be testifying before Issa’s committee at its next Benghazi hearing, on May 8.

The lawyers said their clients believe their accounts of Benghazi were spurned by the Accountability Review board (ARB), the official investigative body convened by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to review the terrorist attacks, and that the two employees have faced threats and intimidation from as-yet-unnamed superiors.

“I’m not talking generally, I’m talking specifically about Benghazi — that people have been threatened,” Toensing told Fox News on Wednesday. “And not just the State Department; people have been threatened at the CIA. … It’s frightening. …They’re taking career people and making them well aware that their careers will be over.”

DiGenova told Fox News on Thursday, by way of describing his and Toensing’s respective clients: “There were people who were material witnesses, who wanted to talk to [the ARB], and they were not allowed to talk to them.

“The people that we are representing are career civil servants…people who have served the country overseas…in dangerous positions all over the world, have risked their lives and only want to tell the truth.”
